De zeep

Mysore Sandalsoap bevat pure sandelolie. Deze wordt aanbevolen in oude ayurvedische teksten voor huidverzorging. Daarom is het uitstekend voor de huidteint. Sandelhout olie is een geschenk van de natuur dat een lang aanhoudende geur afgeeft. De sandelboom is legendarisch bekend om zijn altijd lekker ruikende geur. Maar bovenal houdt de olie je huid glanzend, zacht, altijd jong en mooi. Deze zeep is gemaakt van plantaardige oliën. Het bevat puur natuurlijke Sandelhout olie. India kent veel streek producten.

De geschiedenis

Deze zeep wordt geproduceerd sinds 1916. Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV was toen de koning van Mysore, de Government Soap Factory in Bangalore oprichtte. Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog kon sandalhout niet naar Europa worden geëxporteerd. Als een resultaat waren er overmatige sandelhoutreserves in het Mysore-koninkrijk. Dit werd de belangrijkste motivatie voor het opzetten van de fabriek.
